Vladimir Kissiov
Director (2001 - 2002), Member of the Board Vladimir Kissiov (born on 30.09.1947) is a former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (1999 2001) and Chief Negotiator with the European Union (2000 2001). He was Deputy Minister of Industry in the government of Ivan Kostov (1997 1998). Mr. Kissiov worked as a head of International Integration and Coordination Directorate in the Ministry of Industry (1993 1997). As a research worker in the Institute of Communication Industries in Sofia he worked as a designer (1971 1974) and head of section (1974 1976). He also worked as a head of Radio Link department in the Institute of Radio, Electronics and Technologies (1976 1992). Vladmir Kissiov was appointed as a Director of the European Institute in August 2001. Mr. Kissiov speaks German, English and Russian. He is married and has one son.
